Privacy Policy

ORBIT ASSIST ("we", "us") is a personal AI assistant that helps you capture and organize your life. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using ORBIT ASSIST, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, a securely hashed password (or a Google sign-in identifier), and your preferences (language, currency, timezone).
• Content you provide — the messages you type or speak, and everything you ask us to save: notes and memories, tasks, reminders, events, expenses and income, people, projects and lists.
• Voice recordings — when you use voice capture, the audio is recorded on your device and sent for transcription (see “AI processing”). We do not retain the audio after transcription.
• Subscription information — your subscription status and in-app purchase history for the app, tied to an app user identifier. Payment is processed by Apple; we never receive your full card or payment details.
• Basic technical data — information needed to run the service reliably and securely (for example, log and error data). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use your information

• To provide the core service: understand your input and organize it for you.
• To keep your account secure and authenticate your sessions.
• To maintain, debug and improve the reliability of the app.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to serve advertising.

AI processing and third parties

To understand your requests, the text of your messages (and, for voice, the audio to be transcribed) is sent to our AI provider for processing and returned as a result. We rely on the following processors to run the service:

• AI provider (OpenAI) — natural-language understanding and voice transcription.
• Supabase — the database that stores your account and content.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.
• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions and entitlements; it receives your app user identifier and purchase information.
• Apple — processes in-app purchases and subscription payments.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments. Our servers and providers are located in the United States.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your content for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete everything at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes your account and all associated data. You can also clear your data while keeping the account (Settings → Clear all data).

Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, sessions use signed, http-only cookies, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

You can access and edit your information in the app, export or review what you’ve saved, and delete your account at any time. To make a privacy request, contact us at the address below.

Children

ORBIT ASSIST is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
